Hello! do you have a minute to talk about His Eminence, Papa Emaritus IV? For those of you not familiar, Papa Emeritus is the is the vocalist for the band Ghost which has been an obsession of mine since 2013, when they released the If You Have Ghost EP. But it was their third album Meliora that really got me, specially the track He Is. This track is directly responsible for the inspiration of one of my drawings of the same name. “He Is” Last year I got the chance to get VIP tickets which included a meet and greet with Papa Emeritus. I thought about it long and hard for about 3 seconds...

Today was not a good day, I got some bad news. Expected news, but bad news nonetheless and that a story for another day. Today’s story is about how friendship pulled me from a dark place. I only mentioned Wilfred in the comic, but the truth is that without friends like Cynthia, Marla, Andrew, AJ and of course my son David, today would have been a really bad day. Long story short. I am currently working on a few new commissions with a tight deadline and couldn’t work on a new This Is Us. But no worries, I have a few already written down, just need time to draw them. In the meantime, enjoy this “remix” of my favorite TIU. This past weekend we went to the Strawberry fest in Melbourne, FL. It was a fun experience, sadly I couldn't actually go in the bouncy house, tho. That's some BS dude, some BS. Who doesn't like bouncy houses.

This is my cat Aleister, Lady Aleister Bubastis to be precise. She has been with us since November 2016 and she likes to be pet, but only when she says she wants to be pet. She tolerates when I pick her up from the floor and stuff my face in her fur and give her kisses and hugs. There is just one tiny detail.
