Uncle George

It’s May 2022 and I’m about to go set up my table at the comic store to greet comic fans and spend a wonderful day amongst other artists. I love FCBD, you get the chance to meet other artists and share your work with fun wonderful people. And did I mention you also get FREE comics? Days like these I remember why I love what I do. To create worlds and characters capable of doing amazing and wonderful things. I get to see kids in awe when they see me draw something on a piece of paper. It’s like they’re watching real magic happening before them. Growing up in PR finding comics wasn’t...

Puerto Rico Comic Con ’22

Hello and welcome back! Now that I've had a week to wind down and decompress it’s time to put some things I've had in my head since the convention into writing. Join me while I ramble away! What a weekend, got to see a lot of people I hadn't seen in a while. Some I don't even remember their name, but I was still happy to see them! I apologize, I’m not good with names, but I promise I loved seeing you all. Got to try and test new things, from set up to what I put on the table. Out are were the small prints in are the high quality canvas posters. These high quality posters help...

An Anointed Experience

Hello! do you have a minute to talk about His Eminence, Papa Emaritus IV? For those of you not familiar, Papa Emeritus is the is the vocalist for the band Ghost which has been an obsession of mine since 2013, when they released the If You Have Ghost EP. But it was their third album Meliora that really got me, specially the track He Is. This track is directly responsible for the inspiration of one of my drawings of the same name. “He Is” Last year I got the chance to get VIP tickets which included a meet and greet with Papa Emeritus. I thought about it long and hard for about 3 seconds...

This Is Us: Friendship

Today was not a good day, I got some bad news. Expected news, but bad news nonetheless and that a story for another day. Today’s story is about how friendship pulled me from a dark place. I only mentioned Wilfred in the comic, but the truth is that without friends like Cynthia, Marla, Andrew, AJ and of course my son David, today would have been a really bad day. So this is my thank you letter to them. I love you guys. This Is Us: Friendship I did not know how much I needed to see Scorpion from Mortal Kombat hugging a giant teddy bear until today. Check out the trailer for the new expansion...

Be Creative

In these confusing days some of us find ourself isolated, be it by choice or imposed we are in one hell of a pickle. Some of you have kids and this whole situation caught us off guard. Last year I was offering at conventions blank “ Heroes and Villains and Sidekicks” templates to kids. The idea is that they create a superhero and their archenemy or their sidekick. If you find yourself trying to find something to entertain your kid(s) feel free to download these templates and have your kid(s) create some cool characters and let their creativity run and have fun. Just click on Hero...

This Is Us: Remix

Long story short. I am currently working on a few new commissions with a tight deadline and couldn’t work on a new This Is Us. But no worries, I have a few already written down, just need time to draw them. In the meantime, enjoy this “remix” of my favorite TIU. This weekend I got to listen Bad Bunny’s new album “Yo Hago Lo Que Me De La Gana” (Spanish for “I Do What I Want”) or “YHLQMDLG”. This is not the type of music I listen to and although I am not a fan, Benito has earned my respect with his actions. So the least I could do was give it a listen. One of the songs...

This Is Us: At The Strawberry Fest

This past weekend we went to the Strawberry fest in Melbourne, FL. It was a fun experience, sadly I couldn't actually go in the bouncy house, tho. That's some BS dude, some BS. Who doesn't like bouncy houses.
